Josh Markiewicz is a commercial real estate broker at Coldwell Banker Commercial Devonshire Realty (CBCDR) and started the Illinois Greek Housing Group to meet the unique and dynamic needs of the Greek housing community at the University of Illinois. His local market intelligence and relevant experience coupled with his superior relationships and best-in-class service provide clients with unmatched outcomes.
Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Commercial Devonshire Realty, Josh worked for Colliers International│Wisconsin (formerly Inland Companies), and in the marketing department of Jimmy John’s; one of the nation’s fastest-growing restaurant chains. This experience on both the tenant and brokerage side has provided Josh with a 360-degree perspective to the real estate process.
Additionally, Josh spent five years as a Green Beret in the U.S. Army Special Forces, deploying twice in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. His unique skill set, leadership ability, and outside-the-box thinking bring a substantial amount of efficiency and structure to the commercial real estate domain.
Josh is the co-founder of CAMPMACKALL, an organization that connects post-9/11 military Veterans attending the University of Illinois with local business and community leaders through mentorships, internships and career opportunities.
